The InterMerseyside Competition is an annual competition between 14 of Merseyside's photographic clubs covering an area from Southport to the far reaches of the Wirral and out into the wilds of St. Helens and Runcorn.

The 2002-3 competition ended in a comprehensive win for Southport,
with St. Helens 2nd and South Liverpool 3rd.

Southport also provided the top 2 scoring slides and prints.
